I owned this product end-to-end, scaling it to 600K+ downloads and a #56 App Store ranking in Mexico. The product was later re-architected into a freemium, multiplayer experience.

BeReal — Senior iOS Design Engineer

I worked on the BeReal Labs team on experimental and production features, with an emphasis on performance-sensitive multi-camera experimentation and rapid iteration.


One of my core contributions was a low-latency multi-camera prototype, built with AVFoundation, supporting front and rear camera feeds, custom modes, and smooth transitions. I profiled memory usage and frame delivery using Instruments to keep the experience responsive.
